Greetings from Greifswald in Germany!

I finally arrived at my first destination and I can tell you it's great finally seeing the summer again!I arrived late on Tuesday at my host Sileas house. In the picture you can see me at the door.

Gosh, it was hard just to reach the doorbell, but her postie helped me - I suppose he already knows her after all those postcards she keeps receiving. She has a full door covered with them, and I'm sure I spotted a few from New Zealand there as well. One even had a fellow Kiwi on it! Still, I'm not homesick yet. It was a great relief to have arrived safely and not got lost somewhere on the way.
Understandably I was really tired after that long journey, so Sileas put me to bed in her own newly made bed. Very comfy! I slept like a rock for a whole day and also when she had to go to uni very early on the next morning.

In the afternoon I met her friend Arthur, with whom I get on really well and we already became friends. He is such a nice monster! I'm looking forward to what the next days will bring. She already promised a guided tour, a music concert and some football.

Can't wait!Auf Wiedersehen and Tschüss

(see, I already learned my first German words)

Checking out where I'm going

WOW, Hi everyone. I've just been scrolling through the responses on the postcrossing thread about my adventure and I sure cant wait to come and spend time with you all.
So far, I'm heading off to Germany, then Finland, Back to Germany then on to the Netherlands. From there I go to Iceland! then to the UK and then on to the USA and canada. I'm hoping to make it to Malaysia and then my final stop will be in Australia before heading back home. I'm getting butterflies in my tummy and no I didnt eat them. Nerves I guess, oooh I sure do hope I dont get lost somewhere in transit!
But I'm sure all the wonderful people on Postcrossing.com will look after me. See you all soon !

An Introduction

Kia ora, I am off soon on a grand mystery tour of the world. I'm not too sure where I'm heading yet, that really depends on where I am posted off to first.

I cant wait though to start my travels. I have a nice little surprise present for my first host. I hope they like it!

Each time I arrive at a destination, my host will send back home pictures to my friend Christine who will upload them to here for me. I'm not too good at using a computer so will have to leave this part up to her. Also my hosts will have to write to Christine of all my exploits and she will also upload their stories of all the fun things I get up to to here too!

Woohoooo, I cant wait for my adventure to begin!
